Other flights from Russia

Besides Aeroflot, AZUR air flies to Phuket: these are charters, and tickets are sold by tour operators. In the Summer 2026 season, according to the airline’s release of 18 May 2026, flights run from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Samara and Sochi. By 19 October 2026 the airline had not announced a winter 2026/27 programme to Phuket: its news covers Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Sri Lanka, but not Phuket. We could not confirm direct flights by Nordwind, Red Wings or other carriers from the regions from primary sources: the Phuket Airport board sits behind a Cloudflare check, and the Nordwind site has no news about Phuket. Ask a travel agent.

With a connection

If there is no direct flight on your date, you can fly with a connection. For 20 October 2026 Tutu showed tickets with a connection in Bangkok, Istanbul, Novosibirsk, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore, on different airlines and with different baggage and connection terms. We did not check these flights and do not recommend a particular one: look at whether the connection is on a single ticket and how long it takes.

The simplest option with a stop in Thailand is Bangkok. From there to Phuket is 1 h 20 min to 1 h 40 min in the air and a ticket from 1,149 baht, with details in how to get from Bangkok to Phuket. The bus from Bangkok takes 14-17 hours, so it rarely suits a connection.

What to check before you fly

After you land: from Phuket Airport

HKT is in the north of the island. How to reach the beaches by bus, minivan, Grab and Bolt, with fares and times, is in the Phuket Airport guide and the comparison airport transfer in Phuket. Check flights for your arrival and departure day on the airport board.

Where to go next in Thailand

If Phuket is only part of your trip, the onward journeys are covered separately: from Phuket to Krabi and to Koh Samui, and from Bangkok to Phuket, to Krabi and to Koh Samui. For what to do on the island, the season and the beaches, see holidays in Phuket and the Phuket page.
