Administratively it belongs to Nong Thale subdistrict of Mueang Krabi district: the Treasury register lists The Beach @ Klong Muang there. The subdistrict had 11,469 registered residents in December 2025 (DOPA). Tubkaek beach next door is also lined with resorts.
From Ao Nang Beach it is 10.6 km, about 16 minutes without traffic by OSRM. We found no public transport timetable we could verify: people use taxis, hotel transfers, cars or scooters.
