Krabi Yai has none. The valuation is a base for taxes and fees on registration, not a market price, and four buildings are too few for conclusions. FAQ

Is there a beach in Krabi Town?

No. The town sits at the mouth of the Krabi River and has no sea beach within its limits. People swim at Ao Nang (18.4 km, about 22 minutes) or Klong Muang. In return the town is closest to the airport, the hospitals and Klong Jilad pier.

Should I live in Krabi Town rather than Ao Nang?

If you stay long and often need doctors, banks and the airport, the town is more practical: the state hospital is 2 km from Chao Fa pier and the airport 14 km. If daily sea matters more, choose Ao Nang. Valuations are lower in town: 36,775 baht/m² against 47,050 in Ao Nang.

Which hospitals are in Krabi Town?

The state Krabi Hospital on Uttarakit Road and licensed private hospitals: Krabi Nakharin International with 100 beds (Pak Nam subdistrict) and Jariyatham Ruam Phaet Krabi with 25 beds (Krabi Yai), per the HSS list of 31.07.2026.

Where do ferries leave from in Krabi?

The province's main passenger pier is Klong Jilad near town: in 2024 the transport ministry described it as the hub for boats to Phi Phi and Koh Lanta and is rebuilding it. It is 17 km from the airport, about 27 minutes. There is also the small Chao Fa pier on the river in the centre.

How far is the Tiger Cave Temple from Krabi Town?

From Chao Fa pier to Wat Tham Suea it is 9 km, about 12 minutes without traffic by OSRM. It is the nearest major sight to town.

How much does a condo cost in Krabi Town?

Krabi Town projects on sale are collected in our catalogue. Treasury valuations for the 4 condo buildings in Pak Nam range from 32,200 to 41,000 baht/m², median 36,775. That is the lowest level on the province's register, but there are too few buildings for firm conclusions.
