What is inside the park
Splash Jungle is in Mai Khao, in the north of Phuket, Thalang district. The park’s address is 65/47 Moo 4, Mai Khao. It is 10 km by road from Phuket airport, about 18 minutes (Thaipedia calculation from OSRM and OpenStreetMap coordinates).
Zones from the park map and the Rides page of the official site:
- Slide Tower. Two body slides and one tube slide; the tube slide takes single or double inner tubes
- Super Bowl and Boomerango. In the Super Bowl you drop into a dark tube and spin around a giant bowl. Boomerango sends you up a vertical wall, then into a reverse free fall over a 15 m transition bump
- Whizzard. Enclosed six-lane tubes running side by side, with a 360-degree loop
- Family Raft Ride. A family raft at up to 33 km/h, with children seated next to their parents
- Lazy River. A 335 m river you float along in a tube
- Wave Pool. A wave pool where guests of all ages can swim in a life jacket
- Aqua Play Pool and Kids Pool. A children’s zone with slides of different heights, water cannons and spray features
- Aqua Spray Park. A play area with water features for families
- Spring Pool and Sunlounge. A cool-water pool in a corner of the park and a sunbed area
Opening hours and how to spend the day
According to the park’s website, Splash Jungle is open daily from 10:00 to 18:30 “until further notice”, with no closed days listed. The site was last modified on 7 September 2026 (Last-Modified header), and the promotions page says the current offer runs until 31 October 2026.
The home page sells a Splash & Sunset Day Pass: one entry to the water park with unlimited rides, an unlimited Infinity Pool and a towel. We do not quote prices because they change with promotions: check the park’s website.
How long to allow depends on the children: half a day is enough for a family with toddlers, teenagers who come for the slides will want the whole day. This is our estimate, not park data. The park’s own rule is a 10-minute rest after every 50 minutes of water activity. On site there are:
- towel and locker rental (Towel Rental, Locker Rentals)
- changing rooms and cabana rental (Changing Room, Cabana Rentals)
- a nurse during opening hours and lifeguards across the park (Onsite Nurse, Full Lifeguard Coverage)
- a gift shop
- Snack Huts around the park: wood-fired pizza, fast food, street food, desserts and drinks
Is the park open in October 2026
The official site says “open daily”. At the same time, several booking sites and reviews said Splash Jungle was closed for enhancement work from 1 June to 30 September 2026 and would reopen on 1 October (Klook, Viator, a Thailand Stuff review from August). A Thai Holiday Guide review dated 5 October 2026 reports that the park did not reopen on 1 October and no new date was given.
We found no independent confirmation that the park was receiving guests on 18 October 2026. Call +66 76 372 010 or write through the form on the site before you go. The booking form marks the total as non-refundable, so it is better to pay only after the park has answered.
If the park is closed, other options for children are collected in our guide to Phuket excursions with kids.
Age and height rules
The figures below come from the Safety Information page of the park’s website.
| Rule | What it says |
|---|---|
| Tube Slide, Body Slide, Boomerango, Super Bowl | height 48 inches (1.22 m) and over, accompanied by a responsible adult |
| Children under 12 | a responsible adult must be with them |
| Life jacket | advised for guests under 48 inches, weak swimmers and non-swimmers |
| Single tube on Tube Slide | more than 45.5 kg and no more than 136 kg |
| Double tube on Tube Slide | each rider more than 45.5 kg, combined limit 182 kg, the lighter rider in front |
| Pregnant women | should not use the rides |
| Babies in diapers | a protective swim diaper is required |
| Infectious conditions | guests with them should not use the facilities |
Height limits for the other zones are not given in the rules. Tickets on the site are split into adult (12 and over) and child (5-11 years). The terms of the offer valid until 31 October 2026 say children aged 0-4 and guests aged 65 and over enter free; outside that offer, ask the park about toddlers.
Getting there
From Phuket airport it is 10 km, about 18 minutes. From Patong it is 39.5 km and about 48 minutes, from Kata 50 km and about an hour (OSRM, 18 October 2026). The booking form on the park’s site has a Transfer Pickup line: check the transfer terms there. If you drive a private or rented car, a child under 6 needs a car seat, details in our guide to Thailand with kids.
What to do in rain and heat
We found no rules on closing for thunderstorms or rain on the park’s website, so ask when you call. By TMD norms (1991-2020) October is the wettest month in Phuket: 336 mm of rain and 22.7 rainy days, about 32 °C by day, humidity 82%. From December to March there is less rain: 24-82 mm per month (climate by month).
On a hot day keep water at hand and rest in the shade, as the park itself asks. If the weather rules out the trip, a fallback with children is in the south-east of the island: the Phuket Aquarium, which Phuket Expat Guide describes as mostly air-conditioned indoor space.
Safety
- Keep toddlers and uncertain swimmers in a life jacket: the park advises one for guests under 1.22 m and for weak swimmers
- Children under 12 do not stay alone: this is a park rule
- Watch height and weight on the slides: the limits are in the table above
- The rules say the slides are not for pregnant women
- Guests with a fever or a skin infection are better off skipping the day: the park asks guests with infectious conditions not to use the pools
Who it suits and who it does not
- Families with children from 5 years. There is a kids’ zone, a lazy river and a family raft; height limits are given in the rules only for four slides
- Teenagers and adults who come for the slides. Super Bowl, Boomerango and Whizzard are the main reason to come
- Not for anyone who wants quiet. It is a shared water park with children’s zones, with few quiet corners
- Not for children under 1.22 m who want the big slides. They are left with the kids’ zones, the lazy river and the wave pool
- Not for pregnant women who want the slides. The park asks them not to use the rides
