Koh Lipe (Ko Lipe, เกาะหลีเป๊ะ) is in the Andaman Sea in Satun province. From Bangkok, connect your southern arrival, land transfer and boat deliberately. Buying a cheap flight first and assuming a suitable final boat exists can leave the journey unfinished.
Getting there through Pak Bara
TAT identifies Pak Bara in La-ngu district, Satun, as the mainland gateway to Tarutao’s islands. Bundhaya and Satun Pakbara Speed Boat Club provide official channels for Lipe journeys and land-transfer options.

Park access and neighbouring islands
TAT includes Koh Lipe and neighbouring islands in its description of the Tarutao archipelago. Staying on Lipe and entering a particular natural site are different questions. Before an excursion, confirm the actual itinerary, the site’s opening and included fees. A current universal fee and ticket-validity period for every visit were not confirmed in this check.
For snorkelling, choose an operator explaining the site, conditions and safety equipment. Do not plan to swim to another island because it looks close. A place in an advertisement does not establish suitable conditions today.
Arriving from Langkawi
Bundhaya lists Langkawi-Koh Lipe among its routes. This is an international journey rather than a domestic Thai island transfer.
